I am writing to tell you how thrilled I am with my order.  I placed an order through Amazon.com for the book “Tudor Dynastic Problems 1460-1571” written by Dr. Mortimer Levine.  I was a student of Dr. Levine’s many years ago here at West Virginia University.  He was a noted English historian, especially of the Tudor period.  Dr. Levine died a few years back.  To my delight, when I opened my purchase today not only was the book in excellent condition, but it had a dedication written inside with Dr. Levine’s signature.  My 50th Birthday is this Sunday and this purchase is a part of my gift.  How wonderful indeed!

Hi: 

Just a word about how nourishing it was to visit your store. I used to love browsing bookstores and buying books. The chains, Borders, Barnes and Noble, et cetera have lost that rich, soulful quality I used to love about a bookstore. It lives on at Avol's! I will definitely be back in the near future for a browsing and buying visit.
