OPEN MIKE
A poetry open mike is held monthly on first Thursdays at 7 pm. Bring your own work (approximately 5 minutes) or come to listen—an audience is always welcome.

KIDS IN THE CASTLE
Every Tuesday at 11 am, Trudy Barash reads children’s stories in our castle, located at the rear of the store, next to our large selection of children’s books. No reservation is required. Children must be supervised by an adult while in the store.

MEETING ROOM
A meeting place with tables and chairs is available at no charge in our bargain books room. Feel free to bring in snacks and beverages from local cafés. Call 255-4730 to reserve a time.

Groups that meet regularly include:

Socrates Café, 6 pm Mondays, philosophy discussion group.

Slam Poetry Workshop, 7 pm 3rd Thursdays (4th Thursday in April).

Poetry Critique Group, by invitation only.
